The Meeting House series was my final exhibition after finishing a Masters in Visual Art  at Sydney College of The Arts.

My research paper Pakeha's Whare, (meaning white NZ'ers house) describes my exploration around the concept of cultural exchange through my own experience of growing up in New Zealand / Aotearoa alongside Maori culture.  By examining the period referred to as Maori Reaissance I have linked my own life experiences to coming to understand Maori culture alongside twentieth century concepts of modernism. These conflicting cultural frameworks have challenged the way I think about identity today. This exhibition plays with these ideas.
